« It is from doubt, from questioning that ideas are born. Certainty is a blocked horizon. Questioning oneself, rethinking one's place, the meaning of one's actions is a constant in my work. »

Plastic has been a question for me for a long time... So it was natural that I proposed it to the artists during our first meeting. The conditions inherent to this material are in line with my general approach (painting or installation) which almost always connects so-called opposing elements, leaving room for questioning and doubt. (Which avoids any assertion concerning the meaning of our lives, nothing is definitive, clear, or immutable.)

It is from doubt, from questioning that ideas are born. Certainty is a blocked horizon. Questioning oneself, rethinking one's place, the meaning of one's actions is a constant in my work.

Doubt is also a source of anxiety. My work allows me to try to curb it and transform it into creative energy.
The result is always intended to be structured, controlled, pleasant, to express the optimistic side in the face of life's challenges.
